EarthNode Operators are the backbone of World Mobile's decentralized infrastructure. They maintain and manage EarthNodes, ensuring the network's continuous operation and security. These operators play a crucial role in processing transactions, managing digital identities, and providing essential network services.

Who can become an EarthNode Operator?

Anyone with the technical capability to maintain a node and who can secure 100,000 WMT tokens can become an EarthNode Operator. The process involves acquiring an ENNFT (EarthNode NFT) and setting up the required hardware infrastructure according to World Mobile's specifications.

What is ENNFT?

ENNFT (Earth Node Non-Fungible Token) represents ownership of an Earth Node on the World Mobile Chain. These unique tokens allow holders to participate in network operations and earn rewards. Each ENNFT requires 100,000 WMT tokens locked in a smart contract.

What is an AirNode?

An AirNode provides end-user access to the World Mobile network for calls and data. Their configuration varies based on location needs - from Wi-Fi access points to aerostats and towers. Deployment factors include coverage area, device density, location specifics, and user types. In remote areas, AirNodes operate off-grid using solar power systems.

What is an AirNode Operator?

AirNode Operators are essential participants in the World Mobile network who manage the physical infrastructure that provides local wireless connectivity. They deploy and maintain AirNodes in specific geographical locations, creating the actual network coverage that connects users to the internet and the World Mobile ecosystem.

Who can become an AirNode Operator?

Anyone can get involved by purchasing an AirNode from World Mobile sales platform, where you will be connected to a local AirNode Host.

What is a Host?

AirNode Hosts are an integral part of the World Mobile Network. By simply providing a location and hosting an AirNode, AirNode Hosts are eligible to receive a share of the rewards generated by AirNode Operators providing meaningful connectivity.

Becoming an AirNode Host doesn't require you to purchase an AirNode. Simply provide access to a powered, connected location and support AirNode Operators to deliver wireless connectivity and earn a share of the rewards.
